Adventure Item List #1: Complete a 2 or 4 year college degree
COMPLETED!
I'm marking this one off, although technically I am still in school (I went back to get a BA in Information Technology). A 2 year degree is not a big deal for many people out there, but it took me long enough that I really felt accomplished when I finally got my diploma. Still in the process of learning, though, and should end up with my Bachelors degree in Spring 2005.
Update 11/02: Still plugging away at my classes. I am getting into the programming classes now which are challenging. I've found that there are some (hopefully) easy classes that I might be able to double up on next year to speed up my degree.
Update 5/04: Still working on this degree! Doesn't help that I delay classes by a few weeks to a month. I'm pretty focused on getting this finished now. My remaining classes are:
| NTC/360 | NETWORK AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONCEPTS | |
| NTC/410 | NETWORKS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS II | |
| POS/420 | INTRODUCTION TO UNIX | |
| POS/427 | WINDOWS NETWORKING | |
| WEB/350 | THE INTERNET: CONCEPTS AND APPLICATIONS | |
| GEN/480 | INTERDISCIPLINARY CAPSTONE COURSE |
Plus a humanities course that I somehow couldn't transfer over from the millions of humanities credits I took before.
Update 12/04: I'm almost done! In the fall of 2004 I decided that I really wanted to get done with school, so I started doubling up on my classes. I only have 2 more to go now!
| POS/427 | WINDOWS NETWORKING | |
| GEN/480 | INTERDISCIPLINARY CAPSTONE COURSE |
Plus a humanities course that I somehow couldn't transfer over from the millions of humanities credits I took before.
Update 3/05: I'm done! I finished my last class around the middle of March, and not a minute too soon. It feels pretty great to finish up with this odyssey of school that I have been intermittently involved in for the last few years.
